Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Scada Engineer role based in New Delhi. The Scada Engineer will design, configure, implement, and maintain SCADA systems for mission-critical defense and infrastructure applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and integrating Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens, configuring communication protocols, and monitoring system performance and alarms. The role involves diagnosing and resolving SCADA and field equipment issues, coordinating with electrical and operations teams, and ensuring high availability and resilience of control systems. The engineer will also support testing, documentation, cybersecurity best practices for control networks, and ongoing improvement of system reliability and safety.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Power Systems, with the ability to interpret single-line diagrams, control schematics, and related technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and Human Machine Interface (HMI) development, configuration, and integration with field devices.
• Proven Troubleshooting skills for control systems, communication networks, and field instrumentation in high-availability environments.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC standards) and basic control/automation concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work on-site in secure environments, follow strict safety and security procedures, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in defense, utilities, power distribution, or other mission-critical infrastructure domains is an advantage.
