Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SCM & Purchase Assistant role based in Delhi, India. The SCM & Purchase Assistant will support day-to-day purchasing activities, including creating and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment. The role includes maintaining accurate procurement records, comparing quotations, and assisting in negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms. The individual will collaborate with internal teams such as stores, service, and sales to understand material requirements and manage inventory levels. Additional responsibilities include monitoring vendor performance, supporting documentation for audits and compliance, and assisting in process improvements within the supply chain and purchasing function.
Qualifications

• Strong understanding of purchasing processes, including vendor comparison, order tracking, and basic contract terms.
• Hands-on experience in creating and managing purchase orders and related documentation.
• Practical knowledge of purchasing and procurement activities, including sourcing, follow-ups, and coordination with suppliers.
• Effective communication skills for working with vendors, internal stakeholders, and logistics partners.
• Basic familiarity with procurement or inventory software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience in industrial equipment, automotive workshop equipment, or related sectors is an advantage.
