Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Head – Base Oil & Lubricants, based in Patiala. The Sales Head will lead and grow the Base Oil & Lubricants vertical by developing and executing sales strategies, setting revenue targets, and expanding the customer base across designated regions and segments. Daily responsibilities include managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, conducting market and competitor analysis, and building strong, long-term customer relationships. The role will oversee and mentor the sales team, drive performance against KPIs, and collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, and finance to ensure timely delivery, optimal pricing, and customer satisfaction. The Sales Head will also prepare sales forecasts and reports, participate in strategic planning, and represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Qualifications

• Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in base oils, lubricants, or tg urea and sulphur chemical industries is must .
• Proficiency in Account Management, including nurturing key accounts, negotiating contracts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Analytical Skills to interpret market trends, pricing dynamics, and sales data, and to translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
• Team Management capabilities to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team, set clear objectives, and drive accountability and performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and large customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is an advantage.
• Experience in the chemical, petroleum, or lubricants sector, preferably in a B2B environment, and familiarity with industrial supply chains.
• Comfort working with CRM tools, sales reporting systems, and basic MS Office applications for forecasting and performance tracking.
