Job Title: Manager – Material Disposal and Waste Management

Location: Manda, Sikar, Rajasthan

Job Summary

The Scrap Manager is responsible for overseeing the collection, segregation, storage, disposal, and sale of scrap materials generated within the organization. This role ensures efficient scrap handling, maximizes revenue recovery, maintains compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and minimizes waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end scrap operations including collection, classification, storage, and disposal.
• Identify opportunities to optimize scrap value and reduce waste generation.
• Develop and implement scrap management policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams for scrap handling.
• Monitor scrap inventory and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Liaise with authorized scrap vendors and negotiate contracts/pricing.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of scrap processes and storage areas.
• Analyze scrap data and generate reports for management review.
• Implement cost-saving and sustainability initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 12-15 Years+ years of experience in scrap management, waste management, or industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of scrap materials (metal, plastic, etc.) and recycling processes.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards.
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems.
• Communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry will be preferred.
• Certification in waste management or environmental safety will be preferred.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices
