Title: MRP Order Manager (material resource planning)

Location: Hyderabad, India

Summary

In this role, you will support Lonza’s supply chain operations by ensuring the timely and compliant procurement of materials that enable uninterrupted production. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain continuity of supply while upholding procurement standards.

What You Will Do

• Review and validate purchase requisitions to support material availability and stock replenishment.
• Place purchase orders, obtain confirmations, and follow up to ensure on-time delivery across sites.
• Maintain accurate procurement and delivery data in SAP systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Quality, and internal teams to resolve non-conformances and returns.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues to buyers or category managers when needed.
• Respond to accounts payable and internal enquiries related to material management.
• Support order management activities and provide coverage when required.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in materials planning, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Ability to manage high volumes of requisitions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP, in a production or planning environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
