This person is the brand’s creative and strategic brain. They own the Instagram, the website, the packaging brief, the photoshoot direction, the influencer relationships, and the overall brand voice. In Year 1 they are doing everything — strategy and execution both.
What to look for: 4–7 years experience. Has built or managed a D2C brand’s digital presence from early stage. Understands Instagram deeply — not just posting but building community. Has worked with photographers and stylists. Can write copy that feels premium without being pretentious. Ideally has experience in home decor, lifestyle, or premium FMCG.
