• Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost optimization
• Identify and develop alternate vendors to reduce dependency risks
• Establish vendor evaluation and performance monitoring systems
• Track commodity trends and take proactive procurement decisions (bulk buying, rate contracts etc.)
Logistics Management
• Plan and optimize transportation routes and freight utilization
• Manage transporter contracts, negotiations, and performance tracking
• Improve vehicle utilization and reduce dead freight
• Monitor delivery timelines and reduce transit lead time
• Ensure high OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance
• Ensure timely and accurate order processing and dispatch planning
• Coordinate with sales and distribution teams for demand fulfilment
• Resolve customer delivery issues and improve responsiveness
• Strengthen distribution network efficiency
Financial Control
• Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives across procurement, logistics, and inventory
• Monitor supply chain cost against budget and analyse variances
• Improve cost efficiency without compromising service levels
12–18+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Operations with end-to-end exposure (Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing)
