Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant specializing in Direct Taxation, based in Mumbai. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing compliance with various direct tax laws, preparing and reviewing tax returns, handling tax assessments, and ensuring timely tax filings. Additionally, the role involves providing strategic tax planning advice, addressing client inquiries, and staying current on tax regulations to provide actionable insights. The professional will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellence in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Direct Taxation, Tax Planning, and Tax Advisory
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Tax Returns, Tax Assessments, and Compliance Filings
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting
• Analytical skills with proficiency in Audit and Problem Solving
• Ability to stay updated on evolving tax laws and regulatory guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships
• Proficiency in financial software and tools commonly used in tax and accounting
• Chartered Accountant certification (mandatory)
• Experience in corporate tax and prior work in a consulting environment is an advantage
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle tight deadlines effectively
