Executive Design Full Time

Creating design strategies, conducting feasibility studies, utilizing CAD software, optimizing material selection, and staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Ensure to meet the organization goals related to Pultrusion, Filament Winding, Mass Transport, Hand lamination, Centrifugal casting, SMC, etc.

Ability to conceive new ideas to product. Scientifically execute New Product Development like underground and above the ground tanks, pipe, FGD, Pultrusion profiles, Mass Transport solutions in Metro, Railway, FRP solutions in passenger and commercial vehicles, Centrifugal casting products, SMC products etc. for Reliance Composite Solutions.

Integrate with external customers and R&D & sales/marketing teams within RIL to evaluate and scope project opportunities. Understand tender requirement and international standard to execute the projects.

Take ownership of the design and guide team for execution.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, deliverables, and quality plans and provide periodic status update to leadership team.

Develop new technical innovations that can be leveraged to bring value to RIL.

Cost-effectively develop creative solutions to complex engineering and design problems working in conjunction with a combination of designers, engineers, and manufacturing resources through use of materials science, design and engineering skills, and process knowledge that meet or exceed customer’s expectations.

Build & utilize finite element models for complex structural components and to use finite element analysis (FEA), optimization, and statistical tools to guide the design.

Deliver subject matter expertise in an area of engineering design and/or analysis for wining application development.

Expert in Recognize what type of engineering material data is required to perform the engineering analyses and be well experienced with the analysis solver material models, understanding its capabilities, limitations, and applicability.

Prepare & present technical papers externally, and properly document all technical learning internally.

Utilize six-sigma tools during NPD to ensure first time right, make sound engineering decisions based on data and consistently and proactively drive value generating six-sigma projects.

Interface with other customer personnel, reliance operation team to promote continuous improvement of engineering disciplines, communication, and teamwork.

Define technology gaps & develop improvement roadmaps.

Promote quality and product stewardship inside and outside RIL.

Bachelor’s Mechanical Engg / B Des / M.Des from reputed University

4-10 yrs of Design and NPD experience in polymer application

Professional level competency on Catia/Solidworks for designing and drafting + Hypermesh/Abaqus for FEA
