Role Overview:
As a Manager of Presales, you will play a pivotal role in FCC’s growth by translating complex, multi-product technical solutions into impactful, high-conversion business narratives. You will be responsible for the end-to-end orchestration of RFP responses and client pitches, ensuring that every proposal clearly articulates how our headless commerce, AI-driven pricing, and retail media suites solve specific customer pain points. Beyond individual deals, you will lead the creation of a “presales engine”—developing the reusable assets, case studies, and battle cards that empower our Sales, Partner Alliance, and Marketing to win new prospects and Customer Success teams to scale their impact and drive upsells.
Key Responsibilities
● High-Impact RFP & Pitch Orchestration: Lead the drafting of comprehensive RFP responses and client decks, converting technical specifications into business value language that resonates with C-suite and business-line stakeholders.
● Unified Product Storytelling: Develop integrated solution narratives that cover the full FCC ecosystem—ensuring that Digital Commerce (OMS/Checkout), Retail Media (Monetization/Ad-tech), and Pricing (Dynamic Intelligence) are presented as a cohesive growth engine.
● Presales Asset Development: Design and maintain a library of reusable assets, including detailed case studies, technical cheat sheets, “Why We Win” battle cards, and product demos to streamline the sales cycle.
● Strategic Collaboration: Work in lockstep with Marketing, Sales and Partner Alliances to support new prospects, while partnering with Customer Success to craft “sales-ready” materials for existing client upsell opportunities.
● Process Streamlining & Knowledge Sharing: Standardize the presales process by creating modular content and templates, ensuring consistent messaging and high-quality responses across all global regions.
Required Skills & Experience
● Experience: Approximately 5 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or technical sales within the e-commerce, ad-tech, or SaaS sectors
● Domain Expertise: Solid foundational knowledge of e-commerce workflows (order management, checkout), retail media networks, and algorithmic pricing strategies.
● Business Translation: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical architectures into clear, ROI-focused business language.
● Collateral Design: Proficiency in creating visually compelling and strategically sound presentations, case studies, and technical documentation.
● Interpersonal & Team Skills: Strong capability to collaborate across cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales) to gather insights and refine market messaging.
Qualifications
● Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
● Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in supporting enterprise-level deals through high-quality RFP leadership and pitch support.
● Communication Mastery: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on persuasion and clarity.
