IT Test Engineer Full Time NEW

We are seeking a ETL Test Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in ETL and Data Warehouse testing. The candidate will be responsible for executing test cases validating data transformations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across ETL pipelines.

The role requires strong SQL skills and hands on testing experience working closely with senior testers developers and data engineers to ensure high quality data delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and ETL mapping documents

Create and execute test cases for ETL workflows and data transformations

Perform data validation between source systems and target databases

Write SQL queries for backend data verification

Execute functional integration and regression testing

Identify and report defects using defect tracking tools

Validate data completeness accuracy and consistency in the data warehouse

Support UAT testing and production validation activities

Participate in daily stand ups and sprint activities in Agile teams

Assist senior testers or Test Leads in preparing test data and test scenarios

Required Skills

3 to 5 years of experience in ETL Testing or Data Warehouse Testing

Strong hands on experience with SQL queries and database testing

Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts Fact tables Dimension tables Star Schema

Experience using defect tracking tools like Jira or HP ALM

Experience working in Agile Scrum development environments

Exposure to cloud data platforms like

Snowflake

Amazon Redshift

Basic knowledge of Python or scripting for data validation

Exposure to test automation concepts
