Application Support Analyst (Contract Role) Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Application Support Analyst, based in our Vistra, Mumbai office. This full-time contractual position offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our VFS Team and its’ growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide first level support for application-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with end-users to understand and address their application-related needs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues in coordination with the IT team.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance on application updates and enhancements.
• Document support processes, procedures, and issue resolutions.
• Work closely with vendors and third-party providers to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to communicate user feedback and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the efficiency of application support processes.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in application support or a related role, is good to have.
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with a variety of operating systems and databases and cloud applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize requests.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as, MS SQL , ITIL certification or comparable certifications would be a definite advantage
• Experience in the financial/accounting services industry is a plus.
