Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to apply for the Walmart Graduate Intern position. I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Information Technology (2027) and have a strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and Java, along with hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems.

I have applied these fundamentals through projects like a distributed rate limiting system (Distributed Rate Limiting System) built using Java, Spring Boot, and Redis, where I implemented the token bucket algorithm to handle high-throughput traffic with low latency. This experience strengthened my understanding of distributed systems, system design, and performance optimization—concepts that directly align with building large-scale, reliable systems like those at Walmart.

I am particularly excited about Walmart Global Tech because of its focus on massive-scale distributed systems, high-performance architectures, and real-world impact across millions of users. I am eager to contribute my problem-solving skills and strong CS fundamentals while learning from a team that operates at such scale.
