Sir,

I’m excited to apply for the New Graduate Intern role at Walmart. I’m currently pursuing a B.Sc in Data Science at IIT Madras alongside a B.Tech in Civil Engineering at NIT Surat, and over time I’ve found myself drawn more and more toward building technology that solves real, everyday problems at scale, which is exactly what Walmart does.

What I enjoy most is taking an idea and turning it into something people can actually use. For example, I built *Quant Quest*, a probability-based gaming platform where I designed the core logic, APIs, and real-time systems to support hundreds of users interacting at once. Seeing people engage with something I built from scratch was incredibly rewarding and pushed me to think more deeply about scalability, user experience, and system design.

I’ve also worked on an AI-powered news summarization and text-to-speech application, where I explored NLP and end-to-end deployment using tools like Hugging Face and Streamlit. That experience made me realize how powerful well-designed AI systems can be when they’re built with usability in mind.

Beyond projects, my time in McKinsey’s Forward Learning Programme helped me become more structured in how I approach problems, and my experience working with teams, whether at Swiggy or in student organisations, has taught me how important clear communication and collaboration are in building good products.

What draws me to Walmart is the scale and impact of the problems you solve. I’d love the opportunity to contribute, learn from your team, and grow as an engineer in an environment where technology directly improves people’s daily lives.
