UI/UX Designer – Contract-to-Hire | Remote (US Time Zones)

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to design a tablet-based learning app for kids and a marketing website for parents.

What You’ll Design

  • End-to-end product experience (onboarding, daily use, progress tracking)
  • Stylus-first interactions (handwriting, drawing, gestures)
  • Parent dashboards & progress reports
  • PDF export formats
  • Marketing website (conversion-focused)
  • Full design system (components, tokens, typography)

Must Haves

  • Figma (auto-layout, prototyping, component library)
  • WCAG AA accessibility standards
  • Experience with tablet/stylus-first design
  • Designing for children or educational products
  • Usability testing experience
  • Dual-audience design (child + parent)

Good To Have

  • Motion design / micro-interactions
  • Basic HTML/CSS
  • Warm, approachable visual style (not corporate SaaS)

Tools: Figma, Principle / ProtoPie, Stark, Lottie
