We run one of the largest feeding drives in Maharashtra, providing food to 5000+ street dogs and cats daily, along with hospital-based care through Utkarsh Animal Hospital .
🔎 Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Manager – Feeding Department who truly understands ground-level feeding operations.
This role is ideal for someone who has personally fed street dogs/cats or managed feeding drives and can scale it into structured, large-scale operations.
🍲 Key Responsibilities
Feeding Operations
- Manage daily feeding of 5000+ street dogs & cats
- Plan feeding routes, timings & coverage areas
- Ensure consistency, quality & timely feeding
Hospital Feeding
- Oversee feeding of IPD (admitted) animals
- Coordinate with vets for special diets & recovery feeding
Logistics & Coordination
- Manage food preparation, storage & distribution
- Coordinate between kitchen, field teams & hospital
- Handle inventory & supply planning
Team Management
- Lead feeding staff & volunteers
- Ensure discipline, accountability & execution
- Train teams on humane feeding practices
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track daily feeding numbers & locations
- Maintain reports & improve operational efficiency
- Reduce wastage through better planning
Hygiene & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness & food safety standards
- Ensure safe and humane feeding practices
✅ Candidate Profile
- Experience in feeding street dogs/cats / NGO / animal care
- Must be an animal lover with hands-on experience
- Strong team handling & coordination skills
- Ability to manage field operations
- Disciplined, responsible & passionate
