This Position reports to:

Team Lead – General Accounting

Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)

Handle selected accounting activities relating period close accounting activities including balance sheet and manual journal entries. Lower complexity queries would be handled by Global Hub in Bangalore. The role included control-related activities such as review and approve journals. Driving improvements within this process globally by working with R2R core team on policy changes. In case of issues, deficiencies – the role will ensure driving root cause analysis and remediations with respective operational teams.

The work model for the role is: Onsite.

This role is contributing to the : GA – R2R Environment.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Performing general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to the classification and recoding of financial transactions.
• Executing quality checks on financial reporting data, including fluctuations monitoring.
• Complying with and helping achieve Internal control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance in General Accounting team for applicable templates and participating in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation.
• Assisting with data gathering, data entry, and basic financial analysis to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements.

Qualifications For The Role (Mandatory)

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years operational experience in General Accounting.
• A proven team player, in a similar or a higher sized team
• Ability to train / coach/ guide other
• Expertise in the end-to-end R2R Process, involving Intra-Group area
• A working knowledge of SAP
