Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and fresher’s Agriculturalist to manage and oversee farming activities, focusing on crop production, soil management, irrigation, and sustainable farming practices. The Agriculturalist will play a key role in improving crop yield, soil health, and resource efficiency. The role will require a deep understanding of modern agricultural techniques, pest control, crop rotation, and sustainability practices.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee agricultural production, including the planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops.
Conduct soil tests and recommend treatments to improve soil health and fertility.
Design and implement crop rotation and irrigation strategies to optimize yields.
Monitor plant health, identify pests or diseases, and develop sustainable pest management practices.
Advise farmers on the best practices for crop production and soil management.
Research and implement new farming techniques, technologies, and equipment to improve efficiency.
Maintain detailed records of crop yields, soil conditions, and farm activities.
Develop strategies for minimizing environmental impact while maintaining high productivity.
Work with government agencies and organizations to ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainability.
Conduct educational outreach and training for farmers and agricultural workers.
Collaborate with other professionals in the agricultural field, such as agronomists and soil scientists.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Fresher’s in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field.
Proven experience in farming or agricultural management.
Strong understanding of soil science, crop management, and sustainable farming practices.
Knowledge of modern farming equipment, tools, and technologies.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in both office and field environments.
Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification or experience in organic farming practices.
Experience with livestock management (if relevant to the role).
Proficiency in agricultural software or management systems.

Primarily outdoor work, with some office-based duties.
