Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Good to have skills : Health Insurance Operations, Agile Project Management, Generative AI

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. The role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are promptly addressed to maintain momentum. The Scrum Master actively supports the team s focus on delivering value by facilitating collaboration and communication among team members and stakeholders. Monitoring progress and providing visibility through relevant metrics is also a key part of the daily routine, helping to align efforts with project goals and timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies to ensure effective team collaboration and delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and adapting processes accordingly.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Good To Have Skills: Health Insurance Operations, Agile Project Management, Generative AI.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices to effectively guide teams.
• Ability to use Agile tools and software to track progress and manage workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
• Experience in identifying and resolving impediments to maintain team productivity.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
