Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices such as monitors, mice, phone, etc.
• Install appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate computer equipment.
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disrupting others’ work.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems, including repairing or replacing parts and debugging. Escalates problems of unusual complexity to senior level personnel for assistance.
• Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
• Performs network virus scanning as directed.
• Communicates system/technical concerns to senior IT staff.

This position is a permanent full-time remote role for US shifts, specifically from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

• Diploma in a field related to computers, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 yrs exp in technical support.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and prevailing office software required. Some experience in computer support or customer service required.
• Strong technical communication and client-facing skills.
• Availability for after-hours emergency support and scheduled maintenance.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
