Product Manager Fintech Full Time NEW

Job Summary

Moneycontrol is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Manager with 3–5 years of

experience and a strong technical understanding to drive key fintech products. The ideal

candidate will create product journeys across Fintech Products such as Credit Cards,

LAS/LAMF, Credit Bureau, Account Aggregator (AA), Fixed Deposits (FD) etc while

collaborating closely with engineering, design, and financial partners.

The role requires someone who can convert customer insights into product solutions,

understand system behaviours, manage integrations, and ensure smooth, compliant

financial workflows.

Customer Insight & Product Thinking

• Identify user pain points and unmet needs to suggest relevant optimised product

improvements.

• Analyse funnels, behaviour data, and API responses to uncover gaps and optimisation

opportunities.

Product Ownership

• Ideate, develop & manage new product journeys aligned with the fintech ecosystem

and address needs of our audience.

• Convert business requirements into structured product specs(ex:BRS), user stories,

and acceptance criteria.

Technical Collaboration

• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand APIs, data flows, payloads, and

integration dependencies.

• Use Postman and logs to test APIs, validate responses, and support QA during

integration cycles.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with design, engineering, analytics, compliance, operations, and

marketing teams & customer support to resolve user issues.

• Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, bureaus, and aggregators across integration, testing,

and go-live stages.

Launch & Execution

• Define feature scope and release plans with engineering and design counterparts.

• Ensure timely, high-quality execution and support internal teams in resolving user

adoption issues

Performance Tracking & Iteration

• Monitor conversion trends, funnel drop-offs, and key KPIs to evaluate product health.

• Leverage analytics, feedback, and cohort insights to drive structured product

iterations.

Key Skills Required

Experience & Expertise

• 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably within fintech domains.

• Prior exposure to core fintech workflows

Technical Understanding

• Strong knowledge of JSON, API payloads, webhooks/callbacks, authentication flows,

and error code handling.

• Experience with Postman, API documentation, logs, and basic debugging with

engineering teams.

• Understanding how frontend, backend, services, and databases interact.

• Ability to discuss middleware, microservices, caching, and scalability at a high level.

Data & Tool Proficiency

• Proficiency in MongoDB and SQL for data checks, analysis, and validation.

• Hands-on experience with CleverTap/MixPanel for event tracking and funnel insights.

• Working knowledge of Tableau for dashboards and visual reporting.

• Ability to collaborate on product flows using Figma, Visly, and similar design tools.

Industry Knowledge

• Strong understanding of fintech ecosystems, compliance frameworks, and regulatory

expectations.
