Job Title: Finance Head / Financial Controller

Industry: Logistics | IoT Devices | IT Services

Experience: 10–15 years (Post-CA)

Role Overview:

Lead the finance function for a business operating across logistics services, IoT device (GPS/telematics) sales, and IT services delivery. The role requires managing product + service + operations-driven revenue streams with strong control on profitability and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Strategy

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Support leadership in pricing, expansion, and investment decisions
• Build financial models for logistics operations and IoT deployments

2. Revenue Management

• Oversee revenue recognition for:
• Logistics services (contract/trip-based)
• IoT device sales (hardware)
• IT services (project-based / implementation / support)
• Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and collections

3. Compliance & Taxation

• Manage GST across goods (IoT devices) and services (logistics & IT)
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, TDS, and Companies Act
• Handle statutory, internal, and tax audits

4. Costing & Profitability

• Analyze fleet costs, route profitability, and device margins
• Track project costing and profitability for IT services
• Drive cost optimization across logistics and operations

5. Working Capital & Treasury

• Manage receivables and collections (key in logistics-heavy business)
• Optimize working capital and cash flow cycles
• Handle banking, credit facilities, and fund management

6. Systems & Controls

• Oversee ERP implementation/integration across:
• Inventory (IoT devices)
• Logistics operations
• Finance & billing
• Strengthen internal controls and process efficiency

7. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead finance and accounts team
• Partner with operations, sales, and IT teams
• Provide financial insights to senior management

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of logistics finance & supply chain costing
• Experience in hardware sales + service-based business models
• Expertise in GST and regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills
• ERP proficiency

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
• MBA (Finance) – Preferred
