We are hiring for the position of Deputy Chief Expert – Intrusion Detection System

Responsibilities:

• Design review and approve the detailed design of the Intrusion Detection System (IDS), including sensor layout, detection zones, system architecture, communication network, power supply, and integration with ETCS, OCC and Telecom systems.
• Supervise Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning (ITC) of IDS, ensuring proper installation of fiber optic sensors, fence detection devices, controllers, and alarm monitoring systems in compliance with specifications and standards.
• Manage and approve system interfaces and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between IDS and Signalling, OCC, Telecom, SCADA, and Security systems, ensuring reliable alarm transmission, monitoring, and control functionality.
• Inspect and verify completed IDS installation and testing works, confirm compliance with contract requirements, and certify contractor work completion for processing of payment.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory and technical approvals, including preparation, review, and submission of IDS technical documents, test reports, and commissioning records.
• Coordinate with Independent Safety Assessor (ISA), CMRS, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring system safety compliance, interface validation, and successful project completion.

Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

• Engineering Graduate or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent
• Engineering Graduate with overall 15 years, or Engineering Diploma with 18 years of overall experience.
• 5 years of experience in implementation of optical Fiber based Intrusion Detection System (IDS).
