Position: Basic Medical Sciences Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $85–$93/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on basic medical sciences problems.
- Annotate tasks involving anatomic diagrams, histology images, biochemical pathways, and physiology figures.
- Produce original problem sets and write reference solutions for AI model training.
- Apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in AI-generated content.
- Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in a basic medical science, MD/DO with graduate-level research or teaching, or MS with 3+ years of experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology, or pathology.
- Comfortable reading histology slides, anatomic diagrams, and pathway figures.
Preferred
- Medical school or health-professions teaching experience.
