Role Description

The Purchase Assistant will support procurement activities, ensuring timely and efficient purchasing of goods and services. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, maintaining records, updating inventory levels, and collaborating with vendors to ensure accurate supply chain management. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, requiring a proactive approach to managing purchasing requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of purchasing processes and expertise in preparing and managing Purchase Orders.
• Knowledge of procurement and purchasing principles, along with experience in handling vendor negotiations and relationships.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using procurement or inventory management systems, along with basic computer literacy.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.
• Experience in supply chain or purchasing operations, preferably in a manufacturing or technology-focused environment, is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
