Your work profile
Role Overview
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with mandatory hands-on experience in Odoo Accounting to join our team as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles along with practical experience in implementing and configuring Odoo ERP, particularly the accounting module.
This role requires end-to-end involvement, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, UAT, go-live, and post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with clients, primarily focused on finance and accounting processes
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and Odoo configurations
• Implement and configure Odoo Accounting and integrated modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, manufacturing etc.)
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, e-Invoicing, and statutory regulations
• Collaborate with technical teams for customizations and API integrations
• Support UAT, Go-Live, and stabilization phases
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting
• Prepare user manuals, SOPs, and training materials
• Conduct end-user training sessions
Mandatory Requirements (Must Have)
• Hands-on experience in Odoo Accounting (Mandatory & Non-Negotiable)
• Strong knowledge of core accounting concepts (GL, AP, AR, Taxation, Financial Reporting)
• Proven experience in requirement gathering and client interaction
• Experience in Indian accounting localization (GST, TDS, e-Invoicing)
• Ability to independently manage client-facing implementations
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Odoo versions (v15, v16, v17, v18, v19)
• Exposure to international accounting standards (VAT, IFRS, US GAAP, etc.)
• Familiarity with Odoo.sh platform
• Industry exposure in Retail / Manufacturing / Trading / Services
• Odoo Certification (preferred but not mandatory)
Core Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to bridge finance and technology effectively
• Self-driven with high ownership and accountability
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting
• Professional qualifications like CA & CMA are mandatory.
