CTC: ₹3,00,000 – ₹4,00,000 annually

Location: Cheemasandra, Bangalore (On-site, 6 days a week)

About the Job

At Lushful, we are looking for a highly driven Procurement Executive who knows how to procure organic food products (fruits, vegetables, grocery items) at the best prices, maintain strong vendor relationships, ensure consistent quality standards, and manage supply chain for direct to consumer channels. You will be at the forefront of building a resilient supply chain by working directly with farmers, FPOs, and mandi vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement

• Source authentic organic fruits, vegetables, and dry items at competitive rates without compromising on quality.
• Develop a reliable multi-vendor network including FPOs, local farmers, and wholesale markets.

Vendor Management

• Build strong relationships to negotiate better pricing and secure extended credit terms from suppliers.
• Regularly onboard and audit new vendors and local farmers.

Regional Sourcing Expertise

• Identify and leverage the best sourcing regions for each produce type based on seasonality, quality, and price.

Quality Assurance

• Understand and enforce different quality parameters for D2C (premium quality) and B2B/Quick Commerce (commercial quality) supplies.
• Conduct regular quality checks at procurement points.

Operational Coordination

• Work closely with warehouse, supply chain, and sales teams to align procurement with demand forecasts.

Market Intelligence

• Stay updated with market rates, crop updates, and weather conditions to proactively manage procurement risks.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture

Experience

Freshers are highly encouraged to apply! (Up to 1 year of experience is a plus).

Knowledge

• Deep understanding of organic certification standards and regular produce quality grading.
• Knowledge of key sourcing belts across India (e.g., Alphonso from Ratnagiri, Apples from Himachal, etc.).

Skills

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to manage high-pressure procurement cycles during seasonal peaks.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Networks

• Existing network with FPOs, local farmers, and wholesale vendors is highly desirable.

Other

• Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for order and cost tracking.
• Working knowledge of English, Hindi, and Kannada
