ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.

ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

The Global Business Center – Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

What role you will play in our team

We’re seeking a Planning IT Analyst with 3–6 years of experience to support Workday Adaptive Planning as part of our Enterprise Planning Transformation. This role is ideal for professionals who have built a strong technical foundation and are ready to deepen their impact in enterprise planning and data integration.

Job location is based out of Bengaluru, Karnataka

What you will do

• Collaborate with global teams to support key projects and ensure effective communication across time zones.
• Develop and maintain system integrations for seamless data flow with Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Use SQL to optimize integrations and configurations.
• Facilitate data mapping for accurate and efficient data transfer.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide on-call support during peak business planning phases.
• Manage and maintain components like sheets, formulas, access rules, reports, and dashboards within Workday Adaptive Planning.

About You
Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university in Computer/IT other relevant engineering disciplines
• 3–6 years of experience in IT, data analysis, or systems integration.
• Strong understanding of system integrations with data warehouses.
• Proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregate functions).
• Experience with data models, mapping, reporting, and dashboard design.
• Effective collaboration on team-based projects.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Familiarity with financial planning and analysis processes.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or other Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools.
• Understanding of APIs and integration design.
• Knowledgeable with annual planning and budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Exposure to Snowflake and scripting languages like Python or Snowpark.
• Awareness of cloud and application security authentication, SSO etc.
