Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable web and mobile platforms. The role requires strong expertise in system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and team leadership, along with the ability to drive engineering excellence and process adherence.  

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance system architecture

* Lead, mentor, and manage engineering teams to enhance capability and delivery quality

* Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and release processes

* Oversee AWS/cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and cost optimization

* Provide technical leadership in backend and full-stack development (Java, Spring Boot, Node.js)

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

* Conduct architecture and technical reviews to ensure robust delivery

* Monitor system performance and guide database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

* Evaluate new technologies and recommend adoption where relevant

* Promote a structured, process-driven engineering culture

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

* 10+ years of experience in software development/application engineering

* Minimum 5 years of experience managing engineering teams

* Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js

* Experience with AWS/cloud infrastructure and production environments

* Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and database design

* Proven experience in designing scalable applications for high-traffic platforms

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Working knowledge of React.js and React Native

* Experience with modern web/mobile architecture patterns

* Exposure to performance optimization and monitoring tools

* Experience in improving engineering maturity and delivery processes
