Position Summary:

The role is responsible for leading the Plant Maintenance function to ensure high equipment availability, reliability, safety, quality, and cost efficiency in line with organizational objectives and internal standards. This includes planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, supervision of maintenance operations, effective spare parts and documentation management, and immediate action on equipment deviations to minimize downtime and maximize asset life while complying with SHE, environmental, and housekeeping requirements.

The role also focuses on team leadership and continuous improvement, including coordination with cross‑functional teams, supervision of contractors, capability building, and performance appraisal of maintenance personnel. The position ensures strict adherence to Management of Change (MOC) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes, drives reliability and improvement initiatives, and promotes a proactive maintenance culture that supports plant reliability, internal customer satisfaction, personnel welfare, and overall business performance.

Key Deliverables:

1. Ensure high availability, reliability, and safe operation of all plant equipment.
2. Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
3. Maintain maintenance costs within approved budgets while optimizing resource utilization.
4. Ensure full compliance with SHE, environmental, statutory, and housekeeping standards across maintenance activities.
5. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date maintenance documentation, equipment data, and SOPs.
6. Conduct RCA for major breakdowns and deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
7. Ensure Management of Change (MOC) approval and compliance for all equipment or process modifications.
8. Coordinate effectively with production and cross‑functional teams to support uninterrupted plant operations.
9. Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance personnel and contractors, including training and performance appraisal.
10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability, equipment life, and maintenance effectiveness.

B.Tech/B.E (Mechanical)

Experience – 12 to 15 years
