Engagement doesn’t always mean trust.

If you read the data naively, you’ll build the wrong product.

We need someone who can go beyond dashboards and help us understand what’s actually happening beneath the numbers.

About the role

This is not a reporting role. You’ll work closely with product, CX, and growth to uncover insights that directly shape product decisions.

On any given week, you might be:

• Investigating why a key funnel is underperforming—and identifying the real cause (not just the metric)
• Designing and analyzing experiments to validate product changes
• Connecting quantitative signals with qualitative insights from user calls and support tickets
• Working with PMs to refine hypotheses before features are built

If you’re comfortable pulling numbers but also asking “does this actually make sense?”, you’ll do well here.

What you’ll work on:

Quantitative analysis

• Track and analyze key product metrics (conversion, retention, engagement)
• Build dashboards that are actually used—not vanity reporting
• Design and evaluate A/B tests to measure impact of product changes

Qualitative insights

• Conduct user interviews and usability testing
• Analyze feedback, support tickets, and user conversations
• Translate messy inputs into clear product recommendations

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work with PMs to validate hypotheses before and after launch
• Collaborate with CX, Marketing, and Design to close the loop
• Bring the “voice of the user” into product decisions

What we’re looking for

• 1–3 years of experience in product analytics / data / growth roles
• Strong analytical skills (SQL, Excel, Mixpanel, GA, Amplitude, etc.)
• Ability to connect data with real-world user behavior
• Clear communication—can explain insights without jargon
• Ownership and curiosity—you don’t stop at the first answer

What success looks like (8–12 weeks)

• You’ve identified at least one non-obvious insight that influenced a product decision
• Your analysis has led to a measurable improvement in a key metric
• PMs actively rely on your inputs while shaping features
• You question data when needed—instead of blindly reporting it

Bonus (not mandatory)

• Experience in startups or consumer products
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Working knowledge of Python / R
