The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Having 7+ years of experience in Manage & configure Datadog deployment: Install, tune, upgrade agents; onboard hosts, containers, and cloud environments; configure integrations and APM, network, and log collection.
• Maintain dashboards, monitors & alerts: Build custom visualizations, health checks, alerts, reports; fine-tune thresholds and routing.
• User & access control management: Use RBAC to assign roles (Admin, Standard, Read only), manage invites, SSO/SAML integration, API/app key governance.
• Troubleshooting & optimization: Investigate agent issues, system performance bottlenecks, application instrumentation on environments like Linux/Tomcat.
• Collaboration & training: Partner with Dev, Ops, Sec teams to resolve incidents, train users, document processes, scripts, and best practices.
• Typical requirements include hands-on experience (5+ years), scripting skills (Python, Shell, PowerShell), Linux proficiency, and strong problem-solving ability.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Automation experience, especially IaaS (infrastructure as a code)
• Tool- Certfied DataDog Platform Architect
• Vulnerability management
• Microsoft Active Directory and federation services
