Drive the growth of Meril’s surgical robotics portfolio by leading end-to-end capital sales of high-value systems. You will engage with hospital leadership, influence surgeon adoption, and position MISSO robotics as a preferred solution in a competitive landscape.
This role demands strong clinical understanding, strategic selling skills, and a passion for disruptive medtech innovation.
Responsibilities:
Pipeline Powerhouse
Build and sustain a robust sales funnel across hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), and orthopedic clinics.
Manage long-cycle capital deals while ensuring short-term wins.
Strategic Surgeon Synergy
Collaborate closely with the Joints Product Team to tailor sales pitches based on procedural preferences (e.g., total knees, hips, or revision surgery).
Customize solution messaging to match each surgeon’s philosophy and practice style.
Capital Deal Architect
Lead high-stakes negotiations for robotic systems—including capital purchases, lease agreements, and value-added service contracts.
Influence purchasing decisions by showcasing strong ROI models and clinical impact.
C-Suite Communicator
Deliver persuasive presentations to hospital leadership, addressing financial, operational, and clinical dimensions of investment.
Serve as a trusted consultant on how robotics drive efficiency and patient outcomes.
Evidence-Based Selling
Utilize clinical research, peer-reviewed studies, and health economic calculators to strengthen sales cases.
Educate stakeholders on comparative advantages over competitors like Stryker, Medtronic, and Globus Medical.
Clinical Engagement Leader
Partner with the Clinical Demo and Education teams to orchestrate surgeon demos, cadaver labs, and evaluation trials.
Foster deep customer engagement through immersive hands-on experiences.
Market Intel Scout
Monitor and report on competitor activity, market shifts, and procurement trends to inform commercial strategy.
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of successful capital equipment sales in medical devices – ideally in robotics, imaging, or surgical platforms.
Track record of exceeding quotas in complex, matrixed selling environments.
Strong interpersonal skills with a flair for high-impact storytelling and solution selling.
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree.
Pre-established network with orthopedic surgeons and hospital procurement stakeholders.
