Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Sakinaka Andheri East
Experience Required: 5–10 Years
Industry Preference
Candidates must have prior experience in the Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction industry.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, taxation coordination, vendor payments, payroll processing, and financial compliance. The candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting practices relevant to the interior/construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
∙ Handle day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. ∙ Manage company accounts, reconciliations, ledgers, and bookkeeping activities. ∙ Prepare financial reports and maintain proper accounting documentation.
GST & Taxation
∙ Handle Composite GST-related work and ensure timely compliance. ∙ Coordinate with CA for GST filing, TDS filing, and other statutory compliances. ∙ Provide accurate accounting data and documentation required for tax filings and audits.
∙ Maintain records related to GST, invoices, and taxation.
Vendor & Payment Management
∙ Manage vendor payments and maintain payment schedules.
∙ Follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.
∙ Coordinate with vendors and clients regarding financial matters.
∙ Draft and coordinate legal notices for pending payments/recoveries when required. Payroll & Employee Salary
∙ Prepare employee salary statements and process payroll.
∙ Maintain employee payment records and statutory deductions.
∙ Coordinate with HR regarding salary structures and employee financial documentation.
Director’s Personal Accounts
∙ Handle and maintain the Director’s personal accounting records and related transactions confidentially.
∙ Monitor personal expenses, payments, and reconciliations as required. Required Skills &
Qualifications
∙ Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
∙ Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll processing, and accounting compliance. ∙ Experience working with CAs and auditors.
∙ Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software.
∙ Good communication and coordination skills.
∙ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Candidate Profile
∙ Experience in Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction companies is mandatory. ∙ Ability to manage multiple financial operations independently.
∙ Strong understanding of vendor management and payment follow-ups. ∙ Professional, trustworthy, and capable of handling confidential financial information.
