Accountant & HR Executive Full Time

Job Summary:

The Accountant  plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the company through systematic record keeping and detailed financial analysis. This position involves a range of duties from preparing financial statements to budgeting and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting combined with an ability to apply financial principles strategically to support business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Management:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement and report these findings to management.
• Maintain general ledger as needed including the chart of accounts.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis between actuals and projections to assist management in decision-making processes.

Accounts Receivable and Payable:

• Manage accounts receivable to ensure that all invoices are issued and payments received on time.
• Maintain proper compliances with DC and E-way bills.
• Filing of GST and follow up with defaults.
• Maintain physical records, bills according to the compliances.
• Oversee accounts payable to ensure that vendor invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner.
• Reconcile account balances on a regular basis.

Tax Compliance:

• Prepare accurate tax returns in compliance with legal guidelines.
• Ensure that the company adheres to financial laws and regulations in all financial transactions.

Payroll Administration:

• Oversee the payroll process including the calculation of wages, benefits, tax deductions, and other payroll functions.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Maintain employee appointment and resignation records.
• Maintain all records related to Labours act compliance

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments to align financial management with overall business operations.
• Provide financial insights and support to the management team to aid in decision making.

Audit and Compliance:

• Prepare for and support external and internal audits.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls  
• Maintain Insurance on timely basis
