Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in QuickBooks Online to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support payroll functions, and assist with financial decision-making for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Record daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies
- Process employee payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain payroll records, including deductions, reimbursements, and tax withholdings
- Prepare payroll-related reports and assist with payroll tax filings
- Coordinate with HR regarding employee onboarding, payroll updates, and employee changes
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial and payroll documentation
- Assist with general administrative accounting tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accountant with strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and bookkeeping
- Experience processing payroll and maintaining payroll records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses
- Familiarity with payroll compliance and tax regulations
- Experience with U.S. payroll processing is a plus
Pay: ₹30,000.00 – ₹50,000.00 per month
