Role: Accountant (Remote)
Location: Remote
Payout: $25 – $40/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring an Accountant to evaluate AI outputs related to financial analysis, bookkeeping, tax reasoning, and accounting standards. In this role, you will apply structured rubrics to assess accuracy of financial AI outputs and contribute to model improvement on accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has accounting experience and rigorous attention to numerical detail.
Key Responsibilities
– Evaluate AI-generated financial analysis, journal entries, and accounting reasoning for accuracy.
– Apply structured rubrics to assess GAAP, IFRS, or tax compliance in AI outputs.
– Identify calculation errors, reasoning gaps, and compliance issues.
– File clean evaluation tickets with clear written justification.
– Partner with finance and product teams on quality criteria.
– Contribute to rubric design for specific accounting domains.
Required Skills & Qualifications
– 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, audit, or tax experience.
– Working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or tax regulations.
– Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar).
– Clear written communication for documentation and reporting.
– Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
– Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
– CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification.
– Experience evaluating AI or LLM output quality.
– Background in audit, tax, or financial reporting.
– Excel modeling proficiency.
– Familiarity with ERP systems.
