Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounts & Admin Executive located in Chennai. The role involves managing petty cash, handling Tally accounting software, tracking and processing Goods and Services Tax (GST), preparing financial statements, and overseeing general finance-related tasks. Additionally, the executive will support administrative functions to ensure smooth business operations and compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Maintain all records like Vouchers, Receipts, Bills, and Payments.
2. Bank Reconciliation, Payment Collection.
3. Monthly GST Working.
4. Reconciliation of Sundry Debtors & Creditors
5. Payment follows up by telephonic & mailing
6. Handling petty Cash Records.
7. Send Quotation and Purchase Order by Busy software as per order.
8. Maintain Sales Purchase Registers & Keep in Software properly
9. Banking works like a Cheques issue for clearing Cash Deposit, NEFT, and RTGS
10. Handling to Day-to-Day Accounting
11. Prepare Salary Statement, PF Account, Employees Salary,
12. Finalization of Accounts, Statement of Accounts, Debtors Controls Accounts, Buffer Accounts, Balance sheet Statement
13. Tally Erp

Ability & Skills:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication in English language.
2. Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work independently, highly self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
4. Excellent and good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
5. Good written and verbal communication in the English language.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Relevant professional experience (freshers need not apply)
3. Experience in the relevant field 3-5 years
4. Well versed in MS office and Tally
5. Hands on with MS Office products such as Tally, Excel, Word and Power Point Experience.
