Accounts/Bookkeeper Full Time NEW

This opportunity is specifically designed for individuals with knowledge of GST, TDS, Balance Sheet preparation, invoicing, Excel proficiency, billing, and salary processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance and accounting principles and a desire to gain hands-on experience in a School/Academy

Responsibilities:

• GST and TDS Compliance:
• Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.
• Support in the reconciliation of GST input and output tax credits.
• Assist in TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
• Invoicing and Billing:
• Assist in the generation and issuance of E-invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and approval for invoicing.
• Support billing activities and address client inquiries related to invoices.
• Balance Sheet Preparation:
• Gain exposure to the preparation and analysis of balance sheets under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in reconciling balance sheet accounts and identifying discrepancies.
• Learn about financial statement preparation and reporting processes.
• Salary Processing:
• Support the finance team in processing employee salaries and reimbursements.
• Assist in payroll calculations, deductions, and compliance with statutory requirements.
• payroll software systems and processes used in salary processing.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping:
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Organize and archive financial documents in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Learn about document management practices and data security protocols.

Qualifications:

• CA Inter qualification or equivalent
• Tally working Knowledge and QuickBooks experience, if any
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, balance sheet preparation, invoicing, and salary processing and Reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
