1. About the Role

Purple United Sales Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Executive to manage customer invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and receivables reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent follow-up skills, and experience in managing receivables for retail, e-commerce, or distribution businesses.

1. Key Responsibilities
2. Accounts Receivable Management

• Generate and process customer invoices accurately and timely.
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices and pending payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all receivables transactions.

1. Reconciliation & Reporting

• Perform customer ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile accounts receivable balances with the general ledger.
• Prepare ageing reports and provide regular updates on outstanding receivables.
• Generate monthly MIS and receivables reports for management review.

1. Collection & Recovery

• Coordinate with customers and internal teams for payment follow-ups.
• Ensure timely collection of dues and reduce overdue outstanding balances.

1. Track payment commitments and maintain collection records.

• Escalate long-pending receivables to management when required.

1. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment records.
• Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documents and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

1. Coordination

• Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve billing and payment-related issues.
• Assist in customer account management and dispute resolution.

1. Desired Candidate Profile
2. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• M.Com or relevant accounting certification will be an added advantage.

1. Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Finance Operations.
• Experience in Retail, Fashion, FMCG, Consumer Goods, or E-commerce industries preferred.

1. Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivables processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reconciliations).
• Experience with ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of GST-related invoicing and reconciliations.
