As part of our expansion and organizational strengthening, we are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our corporate HR team in Sohar, Oman.
Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Reporting To: A&F Manager
Location: Sohar, Sultanate of Oman
Joining: Within 30 days
Key Responsibilities
• Preparation and issuance of customer invoices and supporting documentation
• Monitoring and follow-up of outstanding receivables and overdue payments
• Customer account reconciliation and receivable ageing analysis
• Coordination with operations and commercial teams for billing verification
• Preparation of collection reports, MIS, and monthly receivable status updates
• Ensuring compliance with contractual billing terms and VAT/taxation requirements
• Follow-up with clients regarding payment schedules and collection commitments
• Maintaining accurate accounting records and receivable documentation
• Supporting audit processes and monthly financial closing activities
• Assisting management with receivable forecasting and cash flow visibility
Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
• MBA Finance, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certifications will be considered an advantage
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable and commercial accounting functions
• Mandatory experience within contracting, manpower supply, construction, industrial services, or related sectors
• GCC experience is compulsory (Oman experience preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience in invoicing, collections, receivable reconciliation, and client account management
• Strong understanding of receivable ageing, billing cycles, VAT compliance, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Focus, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
