Job Objective

Responsible for managing sub-store operations, inventory control, material movement, and warehouse management activities within a steel manufacturing plant. The role ensures uninterrupted material availability, inventory accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Maintain optimum stock levels and accurate inventory records across all sub-stores.
• Monitor and control inward and outward material movement.
• Ensure timely availability of materials for plant operations and production requirements.
• Review non-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory and initiate disposal actions.
• Manage scrap disposal activities and maintain related records.
• Raise purchase requisitions and ensure timely GRN processing.
• Plan manpower deployment and shift scheduling for smooth store operations.

Store Operations

• Oversee daily sub-store operations and drive process improvements.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, and accessibility of materials.
• Conduct regular audits and stock verification activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and material management procedures.

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare and submit inventory and store-related MIS reports.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Maintain records of material consumption, stock levels, and scrap disposal.

Mandatory RequirementsQualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• MBA / PG Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Industrial Management preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Store, Warehouse, Inventory Management, or Material Management.
• Experience in Steel Manufacturing Industry is Mandatory.
• Candidates must have hands-on experience working in an Integrated Steel Plant, Rolling Mill, Sponge Iron Plant, Ferro Alloy Plant, or related steel manufacturing environment.

Location Preference

• Candidates currently based in Chhattisgarh or willing to work in Chhattisgarh only.

Salary Range

• ₹50,000 to ₹1,25,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and current compensation).
