Position Summary

The Agri Business & Agri Marketing Expert will support multiple Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) by improving profitability, strengthening market linkages, enhancing value chains, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The role involves working closely with farmers, buyers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and rural development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop crop planning and diversification strategies based on market demand, climate, and soil conditions.

Strengthen market linkages by connecting FPCs with buyers, processors, exporters, and input suppliers.

Support financial planning, budgeting, business development, and revenue enhancement initiatives.

Organize training programs, buyer-seller meets, and capacity-building activities for FPC members.

Monitor FPC performance, manage risks, and ensure proper documentation and reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agro-Forestry, or related fields, or MBA in Agribusiness, Rural Management, or Rural Development.

Minimum 3 years of experience in agri-marketing, value chain development, business development, or FPO/FPC management.

Strong understanding of agricultural markets, value chains, and farmer producer organizations.

Experience in product development, branding, packaging, and B2B/B2C marketing.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and business communication.
