AI QC Analyst Intern – RFQ Tools | 3-Month Project Full Time NEW

Job Description

Supreme Components International (SCI) is a Singapore-headquartered global distributor of electronic components. We are building internal AI and automation tools to improve how we process customer RFQs, supplier responses, quotations, and sourcing data.

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented AI QC Analyst Intern to support the testing and quality control of our internal tools, including Eagle, Bobcat, and other RFQ automation systems.

This is a 3 to 6 -month project internship, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role based on performance, capability, and business needs.

This role is best suited for someone with a relevant background in software testing, AI prompt engineering, electronic components, supply chain, procurement, sourcing, quality control, data operations, ERP/CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities

• QC the output of Eagle, Bobcat, and other internal RFQ automation tools
• Check whether the system correctly extracts MPN, brand, quantity, price, MOQ, lead time, date code, stock, and supplier details
• Compare AI/system output against original customer RFQs, supplier emails, Excel files, PDFs, and quotation documents
• Identify errors, missing data, incorrect parsing, wrong brand matches, duplicate entries, and logic gaps
• Maintain a structured error log with issue type, root cause, screenshot/reference, and recommended correction
• Prepare weekly QC accuracy test cases and reports for management and the IT team
• Support user acceptance testing before new features are released
• Work closely with IT, sales, sourcing, and operations teams to explain recurring errors and improvement areas
• Help create QC checklists, test cases, and standard operating procedures for tool testing
• Support any other data-quality or workflow-testing tasks related to SCI’s RFQ execution engine

What We Are Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot small but important errors
• Relevant background in electronic components, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, quality control, operations, data analysis, or software testing
• Ability to read and understand customer RFQs, supplier quotes, and technical part-number information
• Good Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Comfortable working with emails, spreadsheets, PDFs, and system-generated outputs
• Clear written communication and ability to document issues properly
• Logical thinking and ability to follow structured QC processes
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned checks accurately
• Interest in AI tools, automation, business systems, and workflow improvement

Good to Have

• Experience with electronic components, semiconductors, EMS companies, or distribution
• Familiarity with MPNs, brands, MOQ, lead time, stock, date codes, and supplier quotes
• Experience in QA/QC, UAT, software testing, ERP, CRM, or data validation
• Basic understanding of RFQ, quotation, procurement, or sourcing workflows
• Prior internship or work experience in operations, supply chain, IT systems, or business analysis

Duration

3 months.

Strong performers may be considered for a full-time role or longer-term opportunity after the project period.

Location

Greater Bengaluru Area preferred. Remote or hybrid may be considered for the right candidate.

Why This Role Matters

SCI is building practical AI tools to improve RFQ execution speed, accuracy, and visibility. This role is not a basic data-entry internship. The selected candidate will be directly involved in testing real AI tools used in business operations and helping improve the quality of system outputs before they are used by sales and sourcing teams.
