ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a fast-scaling IT and digital solutions powerhouse building products across web development, SaaS, e-commerce, CRM, and AI-driven applications. They’re a team that moves at startup speed while delivering enterprise-grade output — and their content game needs to match that energy. With a strong digital presence and a growing roster of clients and products, they’re now investing in a dedicated creative function to own video storytelling end-to-end. This is a remote-first role with real creative ownership and a direct line to the marketing and product teams.
THE ROLE
This isn’t a post-production support job. You’ll be the creative force behind every video the company puts out — from punchy Reels that stop the scroll, to product demos, ads, and brand content. You’ll work closely with marketing and content teams to take raw footage (or just a brief) and turn it into video that performs. You’ll also leverage AI tools to push the boundaries of what a lean creative team can produce. If you obsess over the first 2 seconds of a video, know your transitions from your jump cuts, and stay ahead of what’s working on social — this role is built for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
→ Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for social media, paid ads, and brand marketing campaigns.
→ Create engaging short-form content — Reels, YouTube Shorts, and platform-native formats — optimised for watch time and engagement.
→ Add motion graphics, lower thirds, captions, SFX, and music to enhance storytelling and viewer retention.
→ Maintain brand consistency across all video output — colours, typography, tone, and visual language.
→ Optimise and repurpose video content for different platforms: Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and paid media.
→ Collaborate with marketing and content teams on briefs, creative direction, and delivery timelines.
→ Use AI-powered video generation and editing tools to boost output quality and speed without compromising creativity.
→ Stay current on platform algorithm shifts, trending formats, and what actually converts — and bring those learnings to every project.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must Have
→ Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects — you can cut, grade, and composite without hand-holding.
→ Strong motion graphics and typography skills — your text animations and transitions elevate the work, not distract from it.
→ Solid colour correction and audio editing fundamentals.
→ Deep understanding of social media trends and short-form content mechanics — you know what makes a Reel perform vs. flop.
→ Strong visual storytelling instincts and obsessive attention to detail.
→ Working knowledge of AI tools for video generation and prompt-based creative workflows.
Nice to Have
→ Prior experience creating content for IT, SaaS, or tech brands.
→ Familiarity with tools like CapCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or RunwayML.
→ Basic understanding of paid social creative best practices (hook, CTA structure, thumb-stop mechanics).
→ A portfolio that shows range — product demos, brand films, UGC-style content, and motion pieces.
COMPENSATION
Fixed Component: ₹2.5 – 5 LPA (based on skills and experience)
Variable Pay: Performance-based incentives of ₹3 – 5 LPA per year, tied to content quality and business impact metrics.
Top performers have a clear path to meaningful total earnings well above the base — the variable component is real, not a footnote.

OUR HIRING PROCESS
This is a skills-first selection process. Here’s exactly how it works:
Step 1: Complete an Assigned Video Editing Course — You’ll be given access to a structured course covering the core skills needed for this role.
Step 2: Create 3 Short-Form Videos — Apply what you’ve learned. Each video must: have a strong hook in the first 2 seconds, include captions and smooth transitions, feature appropriate music and sound design, and be in 9:16 format, 20–40 seconds long.
Final Selection: Offers are extended purely based on the quality, creativity, and execution of submitted videos. No shortcuts — the work speaks for itself.
