Job Description

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Procurement Operations Analyst to join our Ariba Support Team in Pune. You’ll be at the center of Syngenta’s global procurement operations – supporting users, managing supplier enablement, and keeping our Ariba platform running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where your work directly impacts how efficiently thousands of users across regions buy, source, and manage suppliers.

Accountabilities

• Be the go-to expert – Guide requesters through Ariba, run refresher trainings, and resolve procurement queries
• Keep operations running – Manage purchase orders, supplier queries, PO closures, changes, and corrections
• Own platform administration – Set up Guided Buying tiles, update policies, manage preferred vendor rankings, and maintain forms and hyperlinks
• Drive data accuracy – Maintain master data, user records, approval matrices, and monitor system connectivity
• Enable suppliers – Coordinate Ariba Network registrations, validate supplier documentation, and support catalogue publishing
• Spot what’s next – Identify process optimization opportunities and drive timely issue resolution

Qualifications

Required Qualification:

• 1–3 years of experience with Ariba, SAP SRM, Coupa, or similar e-procurement platforms
• Solid understanding of transactional procurement and accounting processes
• Strong Excel skills – pivot tables, data analysis, and presentation
• Experience collaborating with IT and business support teams to maintain system uptime
• Clear, confident communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• A curious mindset with a genuine drive for continuous improvement
