Application Administrator – I

Job Summary

The Application Administrator – I is responsible for the basic administration, support, and maintenance of various business applications to ensure optimal performance and availability. This entry-level role involves troubleshooting minor issues, assisting users, and performing routine system tasks under supervision.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for business applications, resolving basic user inquiries and issues.
• Perform routine system monitoring, maintenance, and health checks on assigned applications.
• Assist in the deployment of application updates, patches, and configurations as directed.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within various application systems.
• Document application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with senior administrators and IT teams to escalate and resolve complex application problems.
• Participate in testing new application features or updates.
• Adhere to established IT policies, procedures, and security best practices.
• Communicate effectively with end-users regarding application status, issues, and resolutions.

Job Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in an IT support or application administration role.
• Basic understanding of enterprise application systems and their underlying infrastructure.
• Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and basic networking concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and follow established procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments quickly.
