Reporting to the Operations Technology Director, this full-time and permanent position can be based in India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Operations Technology stack and its’ growth.

Purpose of Role

The Application Manager is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, stability, and optimization of the AML/KYC onboarding platform (DeepPool).

This role ensures the application effectively supports regulatory compliance, onboarding efficiency, and risk management, while acting as the key liaison between Compliance, Operations, Ops

Tech, external vendors and our clients.

Scope

Manage the delivery of the AML/KYC onboarding platform (DeepPool) through functional analysis, troubleshooting, and system integrations. Facilitate UAT execution, gather feedback, and ensure user sign-offs before deployment.

Support and advise on the preparation of robust Business Process and Training guides while contributing to custom development, API integrations, and data transformation. Enhance system functionality through automation and scripting, ensure seamless operations, and help users adopt new features and process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

Application Ownership & Operations

• Primary owner of the DeepPool AML/KYC onboarding application
• Ensure availability, performance, and reliability
• Manage configuration, upgrades, patches, and releases
• Own the application roadmap

Compliance & Regulatory Support

• Support AML, KYC and sanctions screening requirements
• Translate regulatory requirements into system functionality
• Support audits and regulatory reviews
• Ensure data retention, access controls, and audit trails

• Agile Delivery Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Assist in project planning, including defining scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master and Business Analyst to prioritize and manage the product backlog

Stakeholder Management

• Act as liaison between Compliance, Operations, Ops Tech, and vendor
• Manage requirements and change requests
• Provide subject matter expertise

Vendor Management

• Manage relationship with DeepPool
• Coordinate support tickets and incident resolution
• Participate in roadmap and service reviews

Key requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field;
• AML/KYC certification is desirable

Technical Skills

• Application management experience
• AML/KYC onboarding knowledge
• Experience in regulated environments
• DeepPool or similar platform experience
• Knowledge of sanctions, PEPs, UBO structures
• API and integration knowledge

Soft Skills

• Ability to make technical decisions under pressure and deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments
• Skilled in stakeholder management, problem-solving, and applying quality management principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
