Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Assistant E-commerce Manager. The Assistant E-commerce Manager will oversee and manage the operational and strategic aspects of the company’s e-commerce platforms. Responsibilities include driving online sales, managing customer experiences, ensuring smooth operations, liaising with various teams for business growth, analyzing data for performance insights, and implementing strategies for promotional campaigns and partnerships. The role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce ecosystems and customer-focused strategies to drive growth and brand presence.
Job Description
• Own end-to-end management of marketplace channels including Amazon, Nykaa, FirstCry, and other relevant platforms
• Drive revenue growth, visibility, and profitability across all ecommerce marketplaces
• Plan and execute monthly/quarterly sales strategies aligned with brand goals and platform-specific opportunities
• Manage product listings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, SEO optimization, and premium content quality
• Coordinate timely product launches, assortment planning, and catalog consistency across platforms
• Monitor and optimize discounting, and promotional strategies to remain competitive and protect margins
• Plan and execute platform-led campaigns (e.g., sale events, deal days, festive campaigns) to maximize ROI
• Manage inventory planning and replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking across all marketplaces
• Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and logistics
• Analyze performance metrics including traffic, conversion rates, AOV, ROAS, and customer acquisition cost
• Leverage platform advertising tools (Amazon Ads, Nykaa Ads, etc.) to drive visibility and conversions
• Optimize ad spends and campaign structures to improve efficiency and scalability
• Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and category insights
• Manage customer reviews, ratings, and feedback to maintain high brand reputation and resolve customer and unauthorized reseller issues proactively
Work closely with internal teams (marketing, logistics, design and all relevant ones) to align marketplace execution.
