Assistant Finance Controller Full Time NEW

The Assistant Finance Controls Manager at Jabil, Inc. will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making through financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This position will be responsible for developing financial models, forecasting, budgeting, and providing insightful analysis to drive business performance and achieve financial targets.

Job Responsibilities:**

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to gather input and ensure accuracy.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business case analysis.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and performance indicators.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost analysis, to identify areas for improvement and opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
• Support the long-range planning process, contributing to the development of strategic financial goals and objectives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Sales, Marketing) to understand business drivers and translate them into financial impacts.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
• Assist in the preparation of board materials and investor relations presentations as needed.
• Mentor and potentially manage junior Finance analysts, fostering their professional development.

Job Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FINANCE CONTROLS), with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles (GAAP).
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced financial modeling and data analysis techniques.
• Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in the Mechanic manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
